Bergeon Spring Bar Tool 6767F
The Bergeon Spring Bar Tool is one of the most popular tools used for easily changing a watch strap. This Spring Bar Tool is made in Switzerland. The body is made from polished nickel-plated brass and the tips made from hardened tempered steel. It features a forked end and a pin end.
How to change a watch strap:
1. Take the Spring Bar Tool and insert the forked tip of the tool in between the watch strap and the watch case and gently slide the Spring Bar (the metal bar which holds the strap in place) towards the centre of the strap. The Spring Bar will release and you can remove the strap.
2. Remove the Spring Bar from the original strap and insert it into your new strap.
3. Place one end of the Spring Bar into the hole in the watch case and use the forked tip of the Sping Bar Tool to push the other end of the Spring Bar back. Manoeuvre the Spring Bar until it clicks into the other hole. Once in position, gently pull on the strap to check that it is secure.
